08/19/2005: "ELECTRIC CITY COMICS SIGNING RECAP!"
The signing went really well, traffic was steady and signed a mess of books...did some feebie sketches too. Got a great response to the Necromancer book as well, props to Jim McLauchlin and Top Cow for setting up the signing. Did a little shameless self promoting of my debut as a penciler (starting to sound familiar, eh?!) JAZAN WILD'S CARNIVAL OF SOULS, from Markosia Enterprises, raffled off the single copy of the exclusive SDCC edition with a promotional poster. Everyone loved the book, had a copy there for flipping through as well. The highlight of the signing was to see my former high school Art instructors, Gilda Simiele and Carole Nasters. These two were a huge influence on my decision to persue art as career and too many years have passed since I've seen them. I remember having 3 required classes and 5 periods of Art in my senior year. Thank you to both of you for paving my path in art, it was great to see you both! Lastly, Thank You to Bill Townsend and Jevin at Electric City Comics for your particpation! You guys are great!
